On behalf of the Girringun Aboriginal Corporation, we extend an invitation for you to join us at the third Queensland Coastal Conference, to be held at The Pullman Reef Hotel, Cairns, North Queensland from 19-21 October 2011.

The conference will provide an opportunity to share our common coastal issues, discuss solutions, discover what the latest coastal science and practices are telling us in the context of traditional ecological knowledge, network with colleagues and industry leaders and renew your enthusiasm for coastal management.

The 2011 conference program will feature invited keynote speakers, concurrent sessions, workshops, field trips and exhibitors, and will attract over 250 delegates from all over Queensland and Australia.

'Ancient Knowledge, Contemporary Innovation’ is the theme for the conference which promises to be an event not to be missed.
